WPL will be hosting youth STEM activities every third Sunday of the month running October through March! Come join us for these family-friendly events with STEM themed stations where you'll be able to test the latest gadgetry and so much more!

Have you ever wondered, will it waffle? Let’s put it to the test! Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of creativity and culinary experiments as we try waffling a variety of ingredients to make the perfect lunch on a no school day.

Calling all creative kids! Swing by the library this spring break for some hands-on art fun. We’ll provide all the materials you need and set up several stations featuring watercolors, chalk pastels, ink pens, cardboard, paper, and more.

Are you an aspiring novelist, poet, or someone who loves writing short stories? Join us for our Teen Writer's Workshop! We'll work with different writing prompts and brainstorm ideas for our writing.

Become the writer you’ve always wanted to be! Join the Waterloo Writer’s Workshop series to hear from local authors about their writing process, discuss writing workshop books, and share your own work with fellow writers.

Water Safety

Teens are invited to learn the importance of water safety with the Cedar Valley Sportsplex! Join us from 3pm-4:30pm for this program. Registration is required so please do so here.

Take a break and join us for a relaxing journaling session just for teens! Whether you love writing, doodling, or just need a quiet space to reflect, this club is a great way to explore your thoughts and creativity.

Come play board games with us on your no-school day! Drop in anytime between 10:00 and 11:30 AM in our Meeting Rooms to enjoy some of our favorite games from the library’s collection.

Bike Maintenance & Safety with Ryan
