In the early hours of June 10, 1912, the lives of the citizens of Villisca, IA were forever changed when a local family was found murdered in their home. To this day, the who, how, and why of this brutal massacre remain unsolved.

Join us for a chilling discussion on the infamous Villisca axe murders on Saturday, June 11. Dr. Ed Epperly, a recently retired Luther College education professor, will share his decades-long research and answer your questions. He began researching the Villisca murders as a college student, and his research into the crime is still ongoing. Dr. Epperly will also talk about his book "Fiend Incarnate: Villisca Axe Murders of 1912."

Copies of his book will be available for purchase after the event for $25 per book via cash or check.
