National Poetry Month Reading Series -Community Open Mic

Calling all poetry fans! In honor of National Poetry Month, WPL will be hosting a reading series featuring local Cedar Valley poets Rachel Morgan, Jeremy Schraffenberger, and Vince Gotera. Each weekend will feature one of our speakers, ending with a community poetry open mic event on the last Saturday in April. Join us for this poetry-packed four-weekend event beginning Saturday, April 9 through Saturday, April 30!

National Poetry Month has come to an end, which means it's time for the Community Open Mic! On Saturday, April 30, we invite you to participate in our poetry open-mic from 10am-11am in Meeting Room AB. These can be poems written from prompts given by our three guest speakers over the past few weekends, or ones you've written by yourself!
